Filmmaker Jafar Panahi sentenced to another five years in Iranian prison

Amidst the ongoing bloodshed between the U.S. and Iran, it must be said that the troubled Middle Eastern nation remains a terrible place for artists who oppose the government. And few have borne the brunt of that repressive regime’s censorship more than filmmaker Jafar Panahi, who this week was sentenced to five years and one month in prison.
