Italy’s audiovisual sector saw its first decline in content investment since 2018 last year, the annual APA report revealed at the MIA Market today. Overall, the audiovisual (read entertainment) sector generated €16.8B ($18.9B) in 2025, up 3.1% on the previous year, but inward investment in cinema, TV and on-demand fell to €2B, down 7.4%.
